Mason’s outfit: shirt / shorts / shoes
My outfit: dress / shoes / bag / earrings
Happy Tuesday babes! I am SO excited to share this post with you guys! Today I’m talking all about spring style with Nordstrom. If you’ve been following my blog or Instagram for a while, you have probably gathered that Nordstrom is by far one of my favorite places to shop. I buy a lot of my own stuff there, but I also shop there quite a bit for my kids and husband. I love that they have a huge range of items for all of us, and in a lot of different price points. I usually hit up the Nordstrom kids’ section for shoes for my kids, and Nike stuff for my son. My husband is a huge fan of the Nordstrom brand dress shirts, so I’m always checking those out for him. And for me, well, let’s be honest, I pretty much love the entire store.
As much as I love it for myself, I am always finding the CUTEST things for my littles. Of course, the kids’ section sits right next to my favorite part of the women’s section at my store, so it’s always catching my eye. I may or may not have planned this entire post around this adorable dress I found for Liv. It immediately caught my eye in the store, and I just thought it would be the cutest thing ever on her! Also, for all my momma friends out there, these sandals are THE BEST for kids. I buy Liv a pair pretty much every year. She has extremely narrow feet, and these fit her the best. Plus, they are super durable, and they are waterproof. Total mom win.
I think Mason is such a stud in a little mini button down shirt, so this one was perfect to go with Liv’s cute little dress. Also, the fabric on this shirt is so much better for kids than your traditional “dress shirt” fabric. Originally I planned to pair this shirt for Mason with some khaki shorts, but I spotted these brick red ones and decided they would be cuter! I grabbed these little sneakers for Mason for him to wear with slightly dressier outfits for spring and summer. We don’t have many reasons to get super dressed up (especially my kids), so I love buying him a pair of cool sneakers each season that look cute with button down shirts.
My white lace dress is one of my all-time favorite dresses. I feel so pretty and feminine in this dress. I wish I had it in another color or two, since it comes in like 7 different options. It’s under $100, and I recommend sizing up one (I’m wearing a medium). This dress in any of the other colors would be so perfect to wear to a spring wedding. I don’t have any weddings coming up, so I bought it in white to wear for Easter!
Also, side note, I just have to tell you all how much I love these photos of my littles. If you have kids, I’m sure you know how hard it can be to get them to cooperate for any pictures. We shot these near some water, and there happened to be a few ducks floating nearby. My kids LOVED it. Mason was pretending to be scared of the ducks (he actually loves them) and was screaming and “hiding” behind Liv. Thank goodness for those ducks, because these photos turned out so much better than I thought they would! And also, huge shoutout to my photographer, Megan (Megan Owen Photography), for being such a good sport during this shoot!
xo, Loren
