You guys…I feel like I have been SUCH a slacker this week! I just can’t seem to find the motivation to get done everything I need to do (which is honestly a lot). My mind has been so preoccupied with prepping for the the 2018 rStheCon in Dallas next week, that I can’t seem to focus on anything else! For those of you who don’t know, rStheCon is an invitation only annual influencers conference hosted by rewardStyle (those of you who use LikeToKnow.it on Instagram, that is the same company as rewardStyle). This is my first year to be invited and I am SO excited! I’m really looking forward to meeting up with a bunch of other bloggers that I’ve only ever spoken to through Instagram!
I’ll definitely post more about that later, but for now, I’ll give you the deets on this dress. I love maxi dresses in the summer, especially in Houston when it gets so hot that anything else just feels like too much. This one is super fun because it can be worn off the shoulder, OR strapless. Personally, I usually try to avoid strapless options, but it does look pretty cute that way too!
I do want to warn you all that this dress slightly sheer in the skirt portion. I ended up purchasing this half-slip though, and it worked perfectly under this dress, as well as a few other pieces I had the same issue with. This slip is a great option for stuff like this because it’s seamless, so you don’t notice at all under your clothes. It lays perfectly flat, and is so thin you don’t feel like you’re wearing an extra layer. I’m honestly so glad I bought it, I think it will come in handy for a lot of things!
Well, that’s about all I’ve got for this post y’all. I need to go de-activate my brain for a few hours with a glass of wine and some Bravo.
