I bought these printed shorts last year shortly after I gave birth to my daughter. I figured since they have an elastic waist I could wear them as I was losing the baby weight. I totally forgot I had them until I realized everyone was selling shorts with an elastic waist again this summer. I was so excited when I remembered I had them because it is one more pair of shorts I can add to the rotation of bump friendly bottoms. These shorts have a pretty busy print so I wanted to simplify the look by pairing them with just a plain white piko tee. Depending on what I pair them with, any outfit with these shorts can start to look a little like pajamas. To avoid looking TOO casual I opted for my embellished espadrille sandals, figuring the embellishments on the sandals would dress the look up a little. To keep the top half from looking too boring compared to the bottom, I added one of my favorite Kendra Scott necklaces, and a couple of bracelets.
