I LOVE these shorts from J.Crew! Thank goodness elastic waist shorts are a thing right now, because cute maternity shorts are hard to come by. I love that the elastic waist trend has allowed me to expand my horizons when it comes to comfortable shorts while pregnant! Unfortunately, these shorts are sold out. But I linked another pair from J.Crew that is similar (which might also make their way into my closet…) On some pairs of elastic waist shorts the band is a little to “heavy” or the elastic is a little too “thick”, so they aren’t as comfortable when sitting, but these are perfect. I also love that they are a little on the longer side. I actually had to fold the waistband once since they sit so low under my belly! I think the slightly longer length and slouchy style makes my legs look a little skinnier, which is always a nice feeling when my mid-section keeps growing. I wanted the shorts to be the focus so I just paired them with a super simple black piko tee and white sandals. This outfit is SO comfortable, and perfect whether you are pregnant or not! 🙂
