I don’t know if you guys have heard, but there are two large storms forming in the Gulf, and it looks like one of them quite possibly has its sights set on Houston.
Anyone who is familiar with hurricane prep knows how crazy the grocery stores can be right beforehand. Luckily, Walmart’s Express delivery service came to my rescue this time, and everything got delivered straight to my front door in two hours or less!
I was able to go online, order my essentials, and have them delivered in all in a matter of a couple of hours. It was the easiest process to see what was available at my local store. I was able to stock up on bottled water, batteries, toilet paper, and some dry and canned goods in the event that we lose power this week.
And it’s not just groceries, it’s available for just about anything! I even ordered some nightlights and board games to keep us all busy in the event that the electricity goes out. But honestly, hurricane or no hurricane, Walmart’s Express delivery service might just be new favorite way to shop.
Linking some of my go-to hurricane prep essentials, including things to keep my family entertained in the event of a power outage, at the bottom of this post!
