This week I decided to include some 4th of July inspiration in my Weekend Wishlist. For whatever reason, I can’t say no to a good red, white, and blue look. I learned this about myself especially after having kids. Baby Gap gets me every time with their patriotic collections and my kids seem to end up with about 6 outfits for any patriotic holiday. I think I just love the all-American, classic style that the combination of those colors gives off.
This white Kate Spade crossbody is just too good to pass up. The color is perfect for right now, holiday or not.
I love the easy, casual style of this star printed tank. There are many days in Houston where it is too hot to wear anything other than just a simple, cotton tank, that breathes. I feel like this tank would be a good option for a hot and humid 4th of July party!
I have always loved the Givenchy Antigone bag. So when I saw it in red, I knew it had to make it into this post. This bag is way outside my budget for handbags, but it is a beauty!
This striped romper though y’all…how adorable is this?! The colors are perfect and the ruffled hem adds the perfect finishing touch.
Had I known this gingham dress existed before today I would have already ordered it for 4th of July weekend. Not that I have any major plans or anything, but it’s gingham and it’s off the shoulder, two things I’m loving at the moment!
I actually own these white distressed skinnies by AG Jeans. And I am here to tell you they are one of my favorite pairs of jeans ever. So soft. So comfortable. I can actually also tell you that all my AG Jeans qualify as my favorite jeans ever. Go for the legging jean (I prefer the ankle length). I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong with these!
It’s not secret that I love a good pair of aviator sunglasses. This pair by Le Specs is super fun because they are a bit oversized, lending a fun twist to a classic style.
Another romper I’m currently loving is this white one with blue embroidery. Perfect for the 4th but also not too over-the-top patriotic so you can wear it any time.
I love these fringe sandals. I have a gray pair of heels very similar to these. In fact, had I known the sandals existed I probably would have bought them instead since I wear flats so much more than heels. They come in several colors, but the red has always caught my eye!
So many people have pool parties for the 4th, so you need a good swimsuit, right?! I love that this one adds in the light blue color with the red and navy.
These striped espadrilles are some of my favorites. I actually own this same shoe in the black and white striped version. They are super comfortable!
