dress / similar shoes / bag / hat
Happy Thursday loves! I had every intention of this post going live this morning, but dang, today totally got away from me! I did at least finally get a good try-on session up for y’all on Instagram, so definitely be sure to check that out!
Also, again, don’t judge how pale my legs are. I swear I’m going to fix it soon haha! I sort of wish I would have waited to shoot this dress, because I think it would have been so much more flattering on tan skin, but, I mean, it is only February. I’ll definitely snap more pics of it later because I plan to style it with different shoes for different occasions.
ANYWAY, despite how pale my legs are, I really love this dress. The ruffle details are so cute, and the wrap styling is flattering enough to hide any stomach flaws! My biggest thing though is that it’s long enough. I have the hardest time finding dresses that are long enough for under $100. For whatever reason you seem to have to spend over $100 to find longer dresses, but this one is perfect for $69. I recommend sizing down though. I’m wearing a small here but it’s still just a little big. I could have worn an extra-small if my shoulders weren’t so broad. Oh, and it also comes in a really pretty coral color!
I feel like this is a dress that can be worn for just about anything. I definitely bought it with the thought that it would pair well with wedges, sandals, or strappy heels. But I also really love the casual vibe these espadrille sneakers give to it. This exact pair is from last year, but I love this option too.
Also, my bag is an absolute must-have for spring and summer. I am so into all these straw and bamboo bags for this time of year because they give any look the perfect finishing touch for all the summer vibes. This is another one of the bags that was super popular last year and is back for this year, so if you’ve had your eye on one, I recommend buying it sooner rather than later! The good thing about this style though is that a lot of Etsy vendors sell similar styles, so you can always look there too!
